What is Invisalign?

Invisalign is an innovative system for proper alignment of teeth by using a series of transparent and comfortable splints that fit perfectly to your teeth. These virtually invisible braces slowly move teeth to a situation in which you can be proud of your smile. Properly arranged teeth are important not only for aesthetics and your confidence, but also for the health of your gums because they are easier to clean than crowding teeth or those with greater distance between them. Invisalign is applicable to almost all orthodontic cases in children over 11 years and older with no upper age limit. Invisalign is designed to improve your lifestyle during orthodontic treatment due to the following advantages:

How does Invisalign work?

Invisalign uses 3-D computer technology through which uneven teeth are virtually moved and the whole treatment monitored from beginning to end. According to this plan a series of splints (aligners) is prepared, unique for your case. Each splint is worn for about 2 weeks and then the next one is placed. So your teeth gradually move to its final position. Treatment time is comparable to that of traditional brackets. It varies depending on the case, but in most cases the desired result is achieved in less than a year.
