Prosthetic Dentistry

Treatment of defects of the tooth crown, tooth rows, full loss of teeth and treatment of parafunctional changes - abrasion, bruxism and bruxomania. Successful prosthetic treatment aims to restore chewing function, speech and aesthetics.

The opportunities for restoration of missing teeth are really numerous. In order to achieve the most complete restoration of function and aesthetics each case is carefully analyzed and strictly individually planned.

Sometimes there is no possibility for implantation /in case of refusal by the patient or contraindications/. Then moving or fixed prosthesis can be done.

Fixed dentures

Fixed dentures - crowns and bridges, permanently fixed on pre-thinned teeth. Thinning is essential for the future of construction. There are two basic methods of drilling: tangential (non-threshold) and threshold.

Depending on the material of which the crowns are made they can be metal-ceramic, ceramic, with zirconium skeleton coated with ceramics, CAD-CAM and others.

Traditional metal-ceramic crowns gradually gave way to metal-free crowns which are more bio-compatible and aesthetic.

Zirconium has exceptional strength; in combination with ceramics incredible aesthetics is achieved. The high accuracy of zirconium crowns and skeletons is due to the CAD-CAM technology with which the clinic is successfully working.

Removable dentures

Removable dentures - these are all partial and total prostheses plaque, model-cast dentures, soft plastic dentures, etc.
